Mid-Fidelity Prototype Progress (I) -- Lores and Detailing Lore Decos Planning

Here is the draft of the paper on the stage of Mid-Fidelity, which illustrates "lore & decos" within the metaverse we planned to implement.

Here is the conversion work of each playable section from a  "graphical layout" to an actual metaverse project. 

We also implement lores in each interactable NPC or prop to convey education content and jokes to enrich the learning environment.

Nelson LAN MS prepares the lores in each NPC or props.

Mid-Fidelity Prototype Progress (II) -- Quest Implementation (I)

​​​Our team members (Albert, Kaku and me) converted the abstract  "graphical layout"  idea from those drafts to the playable section of the metaverse quest line.​​

Mid-Fidelity Prototype Progress (III) -- Additional Content Implementation

​Progress Update in Study Cycle II

Here is the optional, solo contribution to the Metaverse project, which addresses some investigation of some feedback from a previous interviewee who had been watching some Metaverse game playback videos from me.

 

The philosophy behind this milestone is to examine whether "metaverse spaces do or do not fulfil the following learning & teaching capabilities in the deeper / advanced topics in a discipline, which is hard to convey and translate in metaverse space".

 

The video shows several demos of my context conversion example using the "Share media surface" concept. Although they do not surface in flattening (like conference A0 poster), they are installations or artefacts displayed in museums. They have the same affordance to share information and knowledge with the observers.

 

Further discussion on the above topic will continue in the production report.
